In Enterprise Architect, you can extend standard UML modeling by using alleged MDG files. By using these files you can add diagram types including your own sets of stereotype elements and connectors.
An MDG Technology can be used to provide access to the sources of a technology that is commercially available or that you created yourself. These resources consist of many facilities and tools, among which UML Profiles, code modules, scripts, Patterns, images, Tagged Value Types, templates of reports, templates of Linked Documents and Toolbox pages.
Thanks to Enterprise Architect, you are able to develop models with the standard UML specifications and to extend the core UML structures employing UML-supported mechanisms like Tagged Values, Stereotypes, Profiles and Design Patterns.
